Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Airport Security
[Posted Friday, 09/15/06 9:21 am] Yesterday, the main-stream news was flooded with the story that J.K. had a rough time getting her hand-written Harry Potter manuscript through a security check onto the airplane for her trip home from New York City last month. And everybody's asking why a hand-written manuscript would ever be looked up upon as a security risk.
Well, now it all makes sense. Today the Pentagon has reported that among the 3,500 books available to detainees at America's detention facility in Guantanamo, the most requested book is Harry Potter.
No wonder J.K. was hassled at JFK. Because of his association with terrorists at Guantanamo, Harry Potter is on the international terrorist watch list!
First a Wizard can't take his potions on a plane, and now this!
