Harry Potter fans remember the Alamo
[Posted Monday, 10/23/06 6:31 am] I have just returned via the Hogwarts Express (well, actually, American Airlines) from a wonderful weekend in San Antonio Texas, where I attended Mischief Managed, the first in which I hope will be a series of really fun Harry Potter conferences.
Fans were sorted into houses and attended classes on Wizarding Law, Geneaology and Potions, for which they won points for answering questions and coming up with good points in the discussions (and lost points for misbehavior) and then we debated whether Snape is a good guy or a bad guy. They also played a Quibbage Tournament with the weekend culminating at the Tri-Wizard Ball (pictured above).
A great time was had by all!
By the way, Slytherin won the Quibbage Tournament and the House Cup. But they cheat! :-)
