J.K. Rowling is the world's highest-earning author, making more than £5 every second over the past year, US business magazine Forbes has announced. | Remembering Richard Harris |
Richard Harris, who was born in Limerick, Ireland on October 1, 1930, would have been 78 years old today. Richard Harris was Albus Dumbledore in the first two Harry Potter movies, but was previously most famous for A Man Called Horse and King Arthur in Camelot. He only agreed to be Dumbledore after his then 11-year-old granddaughter threatened never to speak to him again if he didn't.

It's really nice to see that Dan Radcliffe actually can act. At one point I leaned over and whispered to my friend, "Why can't he do that in Harry Potter?" | ABC Family channel buys latest Potter film rights |
ABC Family has secured cable rights to the Harry Potter series by purchasing the rights to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, as well as Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, 10 months before its theatrical debut.
