| Happy 85th birthday to Eric Sykes! |
Eric Sykes, who was born in Oldham, England on May 4, 1923, is 85 years old today. Eric Sykes is Riddle Manor caretaker Frank Bryce in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and was very popular on TV in the UK in the sixties, particularly with the series "Sykes Versus TV".

| Review: Kipling saga strikes right note |
Adventurous casting placed Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) in the role of John, and Kim Cattrall (Sex and the City) as Carrie, Kipling's American wife, in My Boy Jack. Bizarrely, this casting was perfect. Radcliffe was totally believable as the dutiful but troubled teen trying to both knuckle under and break away from the huge shadow of his father.
