It has been announced that Croatian-born actor and director Rade Serbedzija will have a role in the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows film. Copy of Deathly Hallows script locked away over theft fears
A copy of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" script has been moved to a safe house in an attempt to prevent thieves from getting a hold of it. Jamie Campbell Bower, who plays the leader of the Volturi vampire council in "New Moon," is reported to now be cast as the Dark wizard, Gellert Grindelwald, who is a magician and childhood friend of Dumbledore's in the final Potter film, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows". Life after Potter is good for Bloomsbury
Bloomsbury has reported better-than-expected profits for 2008 in its first year in the "post-Harry Potter era". The publisher reported a pre-tax profit of £11.63m, down from £17.86m in 2007, when earnings were boosted by sales of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. [more...]

Rhys Ifans joins Deathly Hallows cast
Rhys Ifans has joined the cast of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows. Appearing on a UK TV talk-show, the Welsh actor spoke about being fitted for a wizard costume. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows film to feature Pembrokeshire
Part of the next Harry Potter film is set to be filmed in west Wales. Seaside scenes in the book are set to be filmed on Pembrokeshire's coastline, which will represent the fictional village of Tinworth in Cornwall where characters Harry, Hermione and Ron take shelter in Shell Cottage. [more...]

Harry Potter is still casting a spell on readers, according to figures released yesterday by Public Lending Right, a body which pays authors for the public's use of their work. Stunt man seriously hurt on Harry Potter set
A stunt double for actor Daniel Radcliffe suffered "a significant back injury" on the British set of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," paramedics said. Author JK Rowling is to read from one of the original handwritten fairytales which were mentioned in her last book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Paperback Deathly Hallows slated for July 2009
The paperback edition of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released on July 7, 2009. This follows the record-breaking release of the hardcover edition, which hit stores at 12:01 a.m. on July 21, 2007 and has so far sold 14 million copies, making it the fastest selling book in publishing history.
