Alfonso Cuaron exhausted from making Azkaban

[from Zap2it]

No one will be happier to see the third Harry Potter movie open on this June 4 than its director Alfonso Cuaron.

The 42-year-old filmmaker has devoted the past two years of his life to creating "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban," the decidedly darkest installment of the adapted children's book franchise yet.

"It's a long process," Cuaron tells Reuters. "It was a pleasure every single instant. I was never stressed but I was completely exhausted ... The example I like is -- you have the most beautiful car to drive with the best seats and it's so safe and the machine is so luxurious. But there is only one trouble -- you are going to drive for two years and you cannot stop to pee."

Now perhaps the director understands what it's like for author J.K. Rowling who has two more sequels to write in the seven-part series.

Cuaron is best known for his Oscar-nominated "Y Tu Mama Tambien". He is currently at the Cannes Film Festival as a producer promoting his new film "The Assassination of Richard Nixon" starring Sean Penn.
