Teen actor Daniel Radcliffe's new ambition is to become a rock star who doesn't do drugs.
The Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban star, 14, spoke out against narcotics after seeing his favourite band The Libertines ripped apart by bandmember Pete Doherty's addiction to crack cocaine.
And sensible Daniel, who is a huge fan of rock music, has vowed to achieve his aim of musical superstardom without resorting to the use of drugs.
Daniel explains, "I'd love to play in a rock band.
"But given that Pete is just out of The Priory (rehab clinic), I think I have got a better deal. I don't want to end up in rehab." Published June 1, 2004
