| ABC Family channel buys latest Potter film rights |
ABC Family has secured cable rights to the Harry Potter series by purchasing the rights to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, as well as Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, 10 months before its theatrical debut. | Half-Blood Prince goes 3-D |
When Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is finally is released on July 17, 2009, there will be sections shown in 3-D for those who see it on Imax screens. Which bits will be 3-D? | Bollywood's Hari Puttar premiere postponed over lawsuit |
The Bollywood children's film Hari Puttar has been forced to postpone its premiere after the Hollywood studio behind the Harry Potter blockbusters took the Indian producers to court over the title. | Warner Bros receives hate mail over Half-Blood Prince delay |
In August Warner Bros. made the surprise announcement that it was putting back the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince from November to next July. The producers of "Hari Puttar: A Comedy of Terrors" argued Friday in the Delhi High Court that Warner Bros. copyright infringement suit here is essentially a case of judging a book by its cover.
